What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a complete and coordinated approach to health care. It is the art and science of disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention using non-pharmaceutical techniques.

Is Naturopathic Medicine covered by MSP?
Although Naturopathic Medicine is not covered by MSP for all BC residents, those who have premium assistace can qualify for a $23 reimbursement for up to 10 visits per year.  Ask Dr. Erika for more details.  Naturopathic Medicine is also covered by many Extended Health Care Plans. Check your plan or speak to your HR representative for more specifics details.

How long are appointments?
The initial visit is 60 minutes long to allow for a detailed assessment of your health history and current concerns. The second visit is 45 minutes and includes a brief screening physical exam. Follow-up visits are 30 minutes long. Acupuncture treatments run from 20-30 minutes and Hydrotherapy treatments are 60 minutes long.

Are early and late appointments available?
In order to meet the needs of our busy community, appointments are available as early as 8:00 am, and as late as 6:30 pm.

What does Aqua Vitalis mean?
Aqua Vitalis is Latin for “Healing Waters.” Inspired by a trip to the Roman Baths (located in Bath, England), an ancient site of prevention and healing, Aqua Vitalis Naturopathic aims to provide whole person care for the whole family.
