What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a complete and coordinated approach to health care. It is the art and science of disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention using non-pharmaceutical techniques.

Is Naturopathic Medicine covered by OHIP?
Although Naturopathic Medicine is not covered by OHIP, it is covered by many Extended Health Care Plans. Check your plan for more details.

How long are appointments?
The initial visit is 60 minutes long to allow for a detailed assessment of your health history and current concerns. The second visit is 45 minutes and includes a brief screening physical exam. Follow-up visits are 30 minutes long. Acupuncture treatments run from 20-30 minutes and Hydrotherapy treatments are 60 minutes long.

Are early and late appointments available?
In order to meet the needs of our busy community, appointments are available as early as 8:00 am, and as late as 7:30 pm.

What does Aqua Vitalis mean?
Aqua Vitalis is Latin for “Healing Waters.” Inspired by a recent trip to the Roman Baths (located in Bath, England), an ancient site of prevention and healing, Aqua Vitalis Naturopathic aims to provide whole person care for the whole family.
